Plan the group journey, not just the vehicle
Planning transport for a group in Italy is about more than choosing seats. The meeting point, the luggage volume and the access rules at each stop can change the vehicle and route that make sense. Silverhound helps you prepare a single clear enquiry for chauffeur-driven minibus or coach travel.
We can assess requests for airport transfers, business events and multi-day touring. Vehicle type, route feasibility, service scope and availability are confirmed during quotation; an online enquiry is not a booking.
Group journeys to consider
- Airport arrivals in Rome or Milan
Give the flight details, terminal if known, landing time, number of suitcases and your hotel or meeting location. Include any split arrivals.
- Conference and corporate itineraries
Share hotel pickup points, guest numbers per departure, venue timings and the time you need everyone onsite.
- Private multi-city tours
A Rome–Florence–Venice itinerary needs realistic sightseeing stops, driver scheduling, hotel access and end-of-day parking arrangements.
Coach access requires advance planning
The exact drop-off point is not always the entrance shown on a hotel or attraction website. Three useful examples:
- Rome
Rome has designated tourist-coach ZTL areas, with restricted central access and permit rules. Confirm an authorised coach stop before finalising your group meeting instructions. Official guidance: Rome Mobility: tourist coach access.
- Florence
Florence operates a citywide tourist-coach restricted zone. Bus permits, routes and authorised pickup/drop-off points must be checked for the particular journey. Official guidance: Florence: tourist coach rules.
- Venice
Coaches commonly use the mainland/Tronchetto approach. The water-side historical city requires an onward transfer plan rather than assuming the coach reaches the accommodation door. Official guidance: Venezia Unica: Tronchetto.

Get a QuoteFrequently asked questions
Can we request a driver for several days in Italy?
Yes, you can submit a multi-day itinerary for quotation. Include overnight stops and the planned daily schedule so the service can be assessed.
Does the coach stop outside every hotel?
Not necessarily. Coach access varies by location, especially in historic centres. The authorised meeting point must be confirmed for your itinerary.
Is there a published fixed price for Italy?
No universal price is published here. An individual quote depends on dates, routing, vehicle requirements and service scope.
What should our tour organiser send first?
Dates, pickup and drop-off points, passenger count, luggage requirements and your best available itinerary are the essentials.
